Wendy Williams famously called Whitney Houston out on live radio once. But she was a huge fan and in recognizing the star's passing makes it clear she confronted Whitney because she knew firsthand about the evils of crack, something she gave up 15 years ago.
I think this is too affected (and selfish, it feels like) to be affecting, but I do think it's right and correct to point out the obvious to addicts. Not many people would do that to Whitney's face, and that was a big problem.
