Thoroughly Modern Mickey: Disney recently made a positive move in gay parenting acceptance -- by treating the issue as no big deal. In announcing this year's Disney Moms Panel -- an online forum where a handful of parents, including a few Disney Dads, picked by The Mouse answer questions and offer advice about planning family vacations to Walt Disney World -- the company included its first openly gay dad. For a conservative organization like Disney, this is a pretty bold move as the panel is heavily marketed and used across the entire country as well as internationally. 'Real' Tired: Over a belated birthday dinner with my friend Jay last night at BLT Burger I came to the conclusion that the reason I no longer watch "The Real Housewives of Orange County" -- once a must-see show in my house that the two of us would talk about endlessly -- is because I simply can't tolerate Vicki anymore. (Anyone else had enough?) A bunch of them are still on my DVR (plus they're on 24 hours a day), so I guess there's still a potential change of heart, but I'm not counting on it.
