An advocacy group for victims of sexual abuse by priests wants Francis Cardinal George to face disciplinary action for failing to properly address the widening scandal in the archdiocese involving sexual abuse by priests. Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests say George had been "a bad, bad boy" and probably needed "a really big spanking on his heiny." (D'oh! Let the Reader Beware: Travel writer Joe Sharkey blows the horn on other people's blogs in today's paper: some "blogs are all attitude and no original research, seemingly typed by hung-over media manques whose idea of reporting is to tumble out of bed late each morning and desperately scan the newspapers for items to make sarcastic comments about." That is so not how I do it. I get home from work at 1 a.m. and scan the Internet for items to make sarcastic comments about. (NYT)
