Mark Sanchez led the New York Jets to a come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys to kick off the team's NFL season last night in East Rutherford, N.J. It wasn't always pretty -- both Sanchez and Tony Romo almost seemed to be offering the game to the other team at various points -- but a win for New York on Sept. 11 was extra special nonetheless, and who doesn't like to see Mark Sanchez demonstrate his color-guard skills?

Mark Sanchez showed off his culinary skills in the kitchen at N9NE Steakhouse at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas with George Maloof (owner) and Barry S. Dakake (chef). I guess it was inevitable (he is Mexican, after all), but Jets QB Mark Sanchez has been seen test-driving a pornstache, perhaps in a vain attempt to emulate Joe Namath and his winning Fu Manchu. Unfortunately , the only thing less impressive than Sanchez's lip -- it looks one of those pre-shaving pubescent numbers guys sport in junior high -- is the way the Jets are playing the New Orleans Saints. (UPDATE: Jets suffer first loss of the season, 24-10.)
