Weekend Tennis Roundup (12/18)

Although we're still in the sport's short off-season, between UTS and the men gearing up for 2024, this week's roundup might be the most NC-17 yet. See for yourself BELOW.

Jack Draper's got the power

Anyone enjoying Ultimate Tennis Showdown?

Damian and I have gotten a kick out of it over the past few years -- and it was fun to see Jack Draper land his biggest career payday by defeating Holger Rune for the UTS title in London

And did you hear about this? 50 years after the Battle of the Sexes, we got a reminder of the fact that men who aren't seniors still retain a huge advantage over women. After her Ukrainian opponent refused to play Russian World No. 57 Mirra Andreeva in the final of the Negometal Open de Bourg-de-Peage exhibition event in France, organizers brought in Frenchman Yanis Ghazouani Durand -- who is ranked No. 1145 on the ATP computer -- for a little fun. Although he didn't clean the court with her, he did win in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2.

And last but certainly not least: Roscoe Tanner proves men did have 21st century bodies back in the day
