Is James Franco's New Movie Shitty?

Delays usually aren't a good sign, but who knows ...

Via Frontiers:
James Franco stars in the new movie "As I Lay Dying," which was scheduled to go out in limited release today. Plans have changed, and it will now be available via iTunes on Oct. 22 and on DVD and through Video on Demand on Nov. 5. The rather depressing story is taken from the classic 1930 William Faulkner story which details the experience of a poor Mississippi family's grief. The story focuses on their efforts to meet the burial requests of their late matriarch, Addie Bundren, who wanted to be buried in the nearby town of Jefferson. Franco also directs a cast that features his recent "The Mindy Project" costar and "Sordid Lives" vet Beth Grant, his "Pineapple Express" costar Danny McBride, "Prometheus" vet Logan Marshall-Green, "True Blood"'s Jim Parrack and "The Help"'s Ahna O'Reilly.
