Clip It in the Bud

NBA player's 'abortion contract' with girlfriend revealed he promised to keep dating her for a year if she ended pregnancy or he'd pay her $25k

Clippers star J.J. Redick -- who I have had my eye on for YEARS -- is a real class act, although as Michael points out, these women go into these relationships knowing what they're "getting":
In the six-year-old contract it states that if it turned out [Vanessa] Lopez had never been pregnant or if she failed to follow through on the abortion, Redick would have no further obligations to keep up the dating charade. If he simply got bored and didn't want to keep dating her following the abortion, he would be contractually required to give her 'written notice' 30 days prior to any break up and pay up the $25,000.

I don't see anything wrong with this if they both agree to it!

So this is what they teach at Duke. If he had gone to UNC he might have gotten an actual education.

I blame the agent for suggesting it and him for agreeing to it. In reality, it makes him a bit less douchey then most men who walk away, deny it or insist the woman have an abortion. Like dishy said she's no better and maybe even worse (she had to power to decide) then him for signing/doing it.

You had to know that Gloria Allred was the lawyer for this bimbo.

Yes, but when Gloria Allred dumps a female client who has a pro athlete in her sights, you know the client is a head case. If that fraud Gloria calls you a fraud, well...
