Remarkable how our standards have changed in male bodies since those days. No six pack on JP, rather unimpressive musculature by today's standards. Calvin Klein with Marky Mark; Bruce Weber with A&F, and now we have entirely new standards of the sort of male body that deserves to be an underwear model.
Makes me think of the Boomer Esiason underwear ad. And didn't Steve Lundquist have a swimwear/underwear commercial so revealing that it got (ahem) yanked? If you could dig that one up, I'd appreciate it muchly.

I can remember the first time I ever saw a Jim Palmer add....it still makes me breath hard and sweat....swooning.

I used to love those ads. He is so ruggedly gorgeous. The nuns at my old high school used to love Jim Palmer too!
I'm the same age as you and I used to jerk off to the Marlboro Man ads.
