Thursday Ad Watch

My friend Gary tells the most hilarious story about the time he had a breakdown in the family station wagon as a very young boy. When his parents asked him what was wrong he told them that he was "scared" because he was "attracted to Jim Palmer." His dad nearly drove off the road while his mom tried to assure the tyke that it was "completely normal," which, as you can see from this ad, it certainly was understandable if not completely normal.

I had such an crush on him. I kept a magazine with his shirtless ad hidden in my room.

haha. I had a page ripped from the TV Guide od Jim Palmer, but he was sporting light blue briefs, & NO SHIRT. I guess I was maybe 11. My first hidden panty pic of my youth. thanks for the memory recall.

What the children don't understand is that this was one of the only and most vivid examples for male eroticism out there for public consumption. Now, the underwear looks like the male version of granny panties but then it was a big deal.

LOL. As a kid in junior high, I used to go through all the old magazines in the school library and secretly tear out the ads and photos of shirtless guys (Sports Illustrated was perfect for this).

There is in fact an ad of Palmer in nothing but his underwear and his bulge front and center. I know, because I had many a solo session with that photo.

This isn't the one I remember, but it is one:
