'The Machine' Unmasked?

Has Brian Wilson's mystery friend -- aka The Machine -- been unmasked as teammate Pat Burrell? An athletic supporter writes: "The Machine" is Pat Burrell. When Burrell played in Philly Chase Utley had tee shirts made up for spring training from the pic of Burrell doing a bicep curl shirtless with the headline Pat Burrell "Man or Machine?" Burrell lives in Wilson's house in SF.

Burrell has been on my radar for years and let me just say this Ultimate Leather Daddy can be my "roommate" anytime he wants ...

The WTA Gets a Makeover

Francesca Schiavone of Italy, Kim Clijsters of Belgium, Vera Zvonareva of Russia, Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark, Jelena Jankovic of Serbia, Elena Dementieva of Russa and Samantha Stosur of Australia pose with the new Women's Tennis Association (WTA) logo during the draw for the WTA Championships in Qatari, Doha

The women are in Qatari for the season-ending tournament -- Doha??? Who wants to help me get a petition going to bring it back to Madison Square Garden where it belongs -- and got all dolled up to unveil the tour's new logo. I don't think it's bad -- although I don't see it as an improvement over the old one, below.

The makeover that impressed me the most, however, was that of Sam Stosur. Is it possible that she actually looks less uncomfortable as a femme than Chris Ever used to?

Craig Ramsay, From Broadway to Bench Press

Michael and I sort of gave up on Bravo's "Thintervention" after the first couple episodes. Between those two AWFUL contestants -- that annoying Aussie drunk Nikki and Joe, who thinks he's better than everyone because he's (literally) the skinny kid at fat camp -- and Jackie Warner's freakish midsection, it was quickly becoming difficult to watch. But one thing we remember as being anything but hard to watch was Jackie's hunky co-trainer, Craig Ramsay, who gives a squeaky-clean interview in the new Frontiers (see the cover HERE). No dish -- the former Broadway star is as sweet as he is handsome!
