I'm sure Mary Beth Maziarz writes lovely songs of her own. But once again, I've fallen in love with another of her covers, this one nearly as beautiful as her take on "Daydream Believer" and "(They Long to Be) Close to You."

A Moment of Sunshine With Doris Day
I neglected to mention the 100th anniversary of the birth of Doris Day yesterday. So to make up for it, today I share with you to this adorable clip featuring the legendary actress/singer with John Denver, who would be turning 79 this year if not for his tragic plane crash at just 53.
A reader writes: This was part of the Doris Day special that aired on TCM channel last night. She smacks on his butt about 6 minutes into this video. "Follow Me" is amazing.
