Happy New Year!

Damian and I rang in the new year with big smiles on our faces seeing Sandra Bernhard perform her last show of 2019 at Joe's Pub. Her take on the state of the world was more introspective and nostalgic than usual, yet no less hilarious. 

And her mashup of the Original Caste's "One Tin Soldier" and Martika's "Toy Soldiers" sent chills down my spine, as did her versions of Bobby Womack's "Across 110th Street" and the Stone Poneys' "Different Drum."

Now the new year is upon us ... and you know what to do.  xo
