Gays of a Certain Age Come to Life in ‘Mid-Century Modern’

The gay(er) "Golden Girls"  -- (essentially) with Matt Bomer as Rose, Nathan Lee Graham as Blanche, Nathan Lane as Dorothy and Linda Lavin as Sophia -- is/are almost here: "Mid-Century Modern" premieres March 28 on Hulu, and you can watch the trailer now!

SYNOPSIS: “Mid-Century Modern” follows three best friends -- gay gentlemen of a certain age -- who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.

@Assed Tongue: I think it looks very sitcom-y, which might take some getting used to again. Here’s hoping when it’s all in context it’s good!

It just feels like its missing all the ease that GG had. And good as Matt is in other things his age in this trio here just makes no sense.

If Matt Bomer is a "gentleman of a certain age," then that about makes me Methuselah.

Well, it's all relative. Just because Matt Bomer is ridiculously handsome doesn't mean a 47-year-old isn't considered ancient by young gays, especially now that they come out in grammar school!
