I could not get beyond the first ten minutes of " Red White and Royal Blue" yes the boys are cute but that's about- the situation is pure romcom fantasy and yes its aimed at teen girls - even the sex scene did not seem sexy- if you want to see a more realistic but feel gay teen romance check out " Beautiful Thing" or a movie everyone seems to have forgotten " Shelter"

Shelter is my all time favorite gay movie

I'm sure that some Pit Bulls are "sweet," but their behavior is so unpredictable and erratic. They're sweet until they're biting your face off. I would never have one around children.

I remember Kensington books sending me free copies to review in the late 1990s and realizing that any number of them were actually written by women, heterosexual women, at that. It's sad that the author of that piece on Dazed spends so many incoherent words saying so very little and proving no points, much less making much sense. The type of people who defend Heartstopper and shows like it, when confronted with even remotely critical thinking about it are exactly like Taylor Swift fans who will knife fight you an alley for saying a mean word about their heroine.

I'll admit I read RW&B out of boredom but I'd rather have read a book written by the unholy love child of a Ryan Murphy who had one blind date with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa fueled by way too much tequilla that produced a baby out of wedlock who grew up to then writes a very queer, Kenneth Anger/Greg Araki influenced 'rom com' between two rival gangs led by lovers Jughead and Archie, but played by Evan Peters and an Evan Peter's clone who was very very buff, and was just batcrap cray cray.
