With thanks to MTV Classic: Had forgotten just how sweet this video is for Kool and the Gang's smash single from 1983, which was blocked from the No. 1 spot by Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon." (It has nearly 30 million views on YouTube.) The woman who plays Joanna is such a doll it makes me want to visit the Colonial Diner in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, where the clip was shot to see if there's any sign of her!
