Remains of the Day (02/22)

Frankly, I'm almost at the point that I don't even want to see them anymore -- just go away -- but OK. Let's have at it.

"Not now, Cleta"

Chris Stein: It would cover the US deficit

Tim Wise: Another one whose career needs to be ended, permanently, after she is held accountable in court. Disemploying racists should become a new pastime.

"The Melissa Rivers of Political Pundits" weighs in

Bob Hartley's secretary died unexpectedly in 2013

Oath Keeper claims she met with Secret Service before Capitol riot

Neera Tanden's nomination to head White House budget office in peril as Collins, Romney say they will vote against her

Yes, because the Roman Catholic Church isn't obsessed with LGBT people at all

How embarrassing for HBO. It sounds like this piece of "investigative journalism" is even more of a dishonest hatchet job than most fair-minded people feared it would be.

Damian and I finished HBO's riveting four-part docuseries "The Lady and the Dale" last night. And in addition to being an almost impossible to believe true story -- one I'd never so much as heard of before, despite its LGBTQ storyline -- it also managed to make me loathe the family of Tucker Carlson more than I already did. (You win some and you lose some, HBO Documentary Films.)

re: prosecuting the former guy: stay strong if you want to see orange man in an orange jumpsuit. Let the justice system serve justice.
