British band Dexys Midnight Runners arrived in the U.S. with the MTV video age, replacing Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ at No. 1 on the charts in 1983. Recently, Kevin Rowland, the band’s leader, singer and songwriter, looked back at the making of “Come On Eileen" -- and I haven't stopped smiling yet! Read HERE.
Everyone in the video -- which is currently not available online -- was in the band, except Máire Fahey, the girl who plays Eileen. She was an ex-girlfriend of Pete Barrett, who designed our album cover, and the younger sister of Bananarama's Siobhan Fahey.
