Weekend Tennis Roundup

We had some more socially distanced tennis over the weekend, this time played on real estate investor Scott Douglas's backyard Har-Tru court in Rolling Hills, Calif. But if the Tennis Channel showed any of it, I didn't see it. It seems Sam Querrey defeated Ernesto Escobedo 4-3 (6), 4-1 in one semifinal and then outlasted local boy and lucky loser Brandon Holt in the final with a 3-4 (7), 4-1, 10-8 victory. Holt, who graduated from USC this week and stepped in when Bradley Klahn withdrew with a bad back, defeated former UCLA standout Marcos Giron in the other semi. (Giron had eliminated Tracy Austin's son in the round-robin portion, which made Holt's run to the final that much "luckier.")

You might recall that 6-4 Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis is another one of Donna Vecic's conquests. But is this his DADDY?

 in a disco?

Between his guru, his nutty wife and his latest adviser who thinks you can turn contaminated water into drinking water by concentrating hard enough, I'm this close to breaking up with Novak. Is he sure now isn't rock bottom?

I always admired him in the past. I think he's mentally done. His career in the US is done since he is an anti-vaccine covidiot
