Had the debut album by Icicle Works in high school. The single was like "I Melt With You" in that it seemed like it was a No. 1 hit even though it peaked at No.. 37 on the Billboard singles charts.
The song also reached #18 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and #15 on Radio & Records Album Oriented Rock chart.
While posting "Hippychick" by Soho last week, it was brought to my attention that the group had covered the song for the soundtrack of the film "Scream." What a scream!
