Found out some years ago, the stars on Walk of Fame are paid for by person themselves or by donation from fans. I'm not sure if there is any criteria for who is eligible to receive one. Trump probably paid for his own. (I'm wondering why he doesn't have a dozen or so, but then remembered, he's cheap.) What is more coveted is the hand-/foot-prints in cement. I believe they are very restrictive who gets because the space is so limited. Stars? They've got all of Hollywood Blvd. (Miles?)
