Seeing that Spotify even had the complete works of the Eurogliders -- a wonderful but little-remembered Australian group from the 1980s -- was kind of the deciding factor for my decision to jump on the bandwagon. "This Island" is the group's definitive album, with this perhaps its most joyous number ("Another Day in the Big World" comes close).

I had forgotten about them; by the 4th chord it all came back complete with my X yelling "turn that derivative s--t off". I played the tape in my car for a couple weeks when ever I drove us anywhere. I didn't spend a lot on gas that month.
