This may have been asked before, so I'm sorry if this is a repeat: aren't wrestlers required to wear jocks under their singlets? Not that I'm complaining, but I can't imagine these guys enjoy having their hard-ons seen by entire gymnasium, especially if their parents are in the audience. Seems like a jock would (somewhat) remedy that problem.
You can see the NCAA rule book for free and I was able to find an old high school rulebook online. Neither specifies any type of underwear underneath the garment covering the lower body.

Where was the camera man sitting to get that angle and how was he not obvious?
