Not to belittle the loss of this man's life or your acknowledgement of it, but what do people really mean when they say "RIP" or "Rest in Peace?" Is it a hope that the dead person won't be part of the zombie apocalypse? Be reanimated by some sort of secret government super soldier experiment? Haunt people? I just don't get it. How else does someone "rest" once they are dead?
