Debbie Does ... Everything!

Blondie was snapped at the Magic Shop recording studio downtown yesterday. It seems this new album is really happening, one way or another. Deb's movie shoot in Ottawa must have been awfully short. Just read she was up there on the 16th to star in Osgood Perkins’ "I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House," joining Ruth Wilson (“The Affair,” "Saving Mr. Banks"), Bob Balaban ("The Grand Budapest Hotel," "Moonrise Kingdom"), and Lucy Boynton. In it, Deb -- who shows no sign of slowing down at 70 -- plays (ironically) a reclusive best-selling author of horror and crime stories who has chosen to live out her final days in her beloved 19th century farmhouse in Massachusetts -- a home that holds a horrific ghost story of its own that inspired her most famous book. Deb is also slated to be a guest judge on Season 8 of "RuPaul's Drag Race," although I'm not sure even that could get me to tune in.
