The band consisting of Debbie, Chris, Fred Smith, & Billy O’Connor, (known in Aug 1974 as Angel And The Snake) renamed itself “Blondie” and performed at CBGB. See this SoHo Weekly advert. This is the earliest publication advertising the band by their BLONDIE name.
