Rehearsal time
Just wanted to share this with you. Last night Susanna Hoffs played The Largo in Hollywood LA. Her guest was Belinda Carlisle. The show sold out faster than any show I've been to there. Sue came out and sang a few songs "Take Me With You" a Prince cover and then The Go-Go's "This Town" played and out came Belinda. Sue and Bel sang it together with Sue copying Belinda's moves and it sounded amazing. They did "How Much More" and a duet of "Different Drum". The high light was Belinda doing a piano version of "Heaven Is a place on Earth" with Susanna doing back up. Petra Haden who was playing in the band came out and was crying because it was so beautiful. Belinda sang back up on "In your room" and Sue sang back up on "Circle in the sand" and "Leave a light on for me". The finale was "Walk like an Egyptian" with Belinda on backup doing the Egyptian dance. The crowd was on its feet. Thanking them for giving us all this great music over the years. It was one magical night. I've never been to a show where there was so much fun and history. Sue and Belinda even had this great Twitter exchange the night before. Just wanted to share.

just amazing!!!!! they both look as if they never age. what a show! Largo is a great place to see artist's like this.
sue hoffs is effortlessly cool and i'm a total fan, but the never-ending drama that is belinda carlisle would, in this case, sadly cancel out all of that coolness.
Would love to see a video of their Heaven is a place on Earth piano version!
