I'd say time for the gym. Tone up a bit and get some definition. Otherwise, I'd say he's "cool"

Must have been cold when the pic was taken.
I'd only say he could beef up, because it looks like he has the body type where he *could.* Use it while you've got it, would be this near-50-year-old's advice. But, truthfully, I think he looks fine skinny, and wouldn't mind looking the same. At all.
