Fika! Score?

Noticed one of these places over on Sixth and 15, now I see Fika -- which apparently means "coffee break" in Swedish -- is moving into the former CitiHabitats on Seventh Avenue near my apartment in Chelsea. Never heard of it before, but will take it over a nail salon. Anyone know if this is a win for NYC?

Swedes serving you? Oh honey - it's gotta be a win.

There's another one opening soon on 10th/56th. I had no idea what it was- upscale coffee shop? High-end kitchen gadgets? Caffeinated massages?

I like the small one I go to on 59th. The coffee is strong and the chocolate combos are awesome. Try the goat cheese salted truffle. A real treat.

They have a location in the financial district, on Pearl Street, been there for years. It is an upscale coffee shop with delicious coffee and espresso drinks, hot chocolate as well. Their chocolate covered coffee beans served with espressos are also amazing!
