Headmaster (and Servant)

HEADMASTER, the biannual art magazine for man-lovers, is back with No. 6, featuring nine projects by artists from Providence, New York, Los Angeles, Rotterdam, Vienna and Berlin. Novelist (and Amtrak residency inventor) Alexander Chee wrote a story inspired by the porn soundtrack work of Patrick Cowley, New York photographer/DJ Anthony DiCapua visited Brighton Beach with a bottle of Russian vodka, and Brooklyn-based artist Stephen Scott Smith repurposed text messages from a breakup for his project.

Choire Sicha of The Awl calls HEADMASTER "delighfully raunchy" and Fleshbot describes the magazine as "Viagra for the thinking man's libido." HEADMASTER No. 6 is currently available at thirty retailers worldwide, including McNally Jackson, St. Mark's Bookshop and the New Museum.
