Puh-lease and Thank You

Season One of "Looking" is over and I must say I think it's off to an incredibly good start. There was no way it was going to be all things to all people -- I have a British friend complaining that it's not as good as the AMERICAN "Queer as Folk"!!!! -- but I think they did a great job bringing the characters to life and I'm eager to see what's next. (Even "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" got way better as time went on.) And if you armchair critics aren't willing to admit the finale was pure bliss then there's just no pleasing you. With that said, I wouldn't be too upset if Augustin were killed off in the Season Two premiere ...

HA! I was thinking the same thing about Agustin!

Also - I'm calling it now: although Patrick will meet and date any number of different guys, the show ends with him and Richie living happily ever after. (This is mostly because Kevin moves to NY after he realizes he's been in love with me the whole time.)

Not a fan myself. But thankfully it wasn't as idiotic as the heaping pile of shit that the American version of Queer As Folk was (that was a just plain awful). Seems nothing can touch the magic of the original UK version of Queer As Folk IMO.

I'm with you on this. The show is definitely off to a good start so I'm glad that it got renewed for a 2nd season. As for the finale, it was for sure pure bliss to a point that it even got me a little teary eyed, not to mention that hot office sex scene.
Well, I'm definitely Looking forward to a better and brighter second season.

And oh, IMHO, the American version of QAF was Nothing compared to the original British version.
