Happy birthday to the ever-unusual one. The wheels may have fallen off her pop career at the end of the '80s, but you gotta hand it to her for constantly finding ways to create new work. She still makes good albums. And with a Grammy, Emmy and now a Tony -- not to mention a reality show and a bestselling book -- she's still a force to be reckoned with. Anyone planning to see her on the "She's So Unusual" 30th anniversary tour? I see she sold out the Beacon here in New York. Not too shabby, Cyndi! Here's looking forward to the next chapter of your life.
