It's universally understood that Gary Wright's "Dream Weaver" is one of the best songs ever, right? Was reminded when "Love Is Alive" came on in a restaurant the other night and Michael mentioned that it was Wright's other big hit. Both reached No. 2 on the Billboard 100. "Dream Weaver" made it to No. 1 on the Cash Box charts, however, which has me wondering how many other classic songs suffered the same indignity. "Be My Baby" by the Ronettes comes to mind ...
