Not sure why this 1982 hit popped into my head yesterday -- I don't recall being a fan of it at the time, just that my brothers and I used to occasionally sing it in jest when the word came up in conversation -- but somehow it sounds quite good today, like a cross between Rosanne Cash and Sean Young, with a hint of Karen Carpenter thrown in for good measure!
Why following Karla would make Twitter think I might also want to follow Mario Lopez is another question altogether!

Great pick! Karla Bonoff is one of my faves. She has performed in New York City a couple of times over the last few years. She gives a low-key but very satisfying performance and of course sings 'Personally' along with a lot of her other wonderful songs...
Very nice! I haven't heard that for awhile. She and Jennifer Warnes sound similar to me.
