Song of the Day: 'Oblivious' by Aztec Camera

A classic single by Aztec Camera from one of the all-time best debut's,"High Land, Hard Rain."

"They've bought the bullets and there's no one left to shoot." The sound of young Scotland. Aztec Camera looking great in 1983 on the BBC lunchtime programme "Pebble Mill at One."

The strange tarot card, day-glo, voodoo version. What's it all mean Roddy? Introduced by Ivor Cutler (taken from a Rough Trade VHS compilation).

Love Aztec Camera, but my favorite is "Jump". I remember playing it for friends and it would take them a while to figure out it was a cover. It was always fun to watch their faces as they came to realize what they were listening to.

What a great, underrated band. Aztec Camera was one of my 80s faves. Thanks for the reminder!
