Sixteen Listings

There's a totally fun article in the New York Times about people with "glam" jobs who later reinvent themselves as Manhattan real estate brokers. Elizabeth Harris profiles all types -- former models, ballerinas, porn stars, the woman whose hand poked the Pillsbury Doughboy, Sy Sperling's daughter, you name it -- but by far my favorite is Haviland Morris, who has the dubious honor of having been dumped on screen for both Molly Ringwald -- by dreamy Jake (Michael Schoeffling) in "Sixteen Candles" -- and Madonna -- by not-so-stuff-after-all Louden (Griffin Dunne) in "Who's That Girl." Read all about of their second acts HERE.

Who's that girl (selling me an apartment)?

According to Wikipedia, Haviland Morris won the "Rookie of the Year" award at her firm, Halstead Real Estate.

IIRC, Schoeffling himself left Hollywood and became a carpenter.
