Dear Augusten (or Running With Landers)

Ran into Augusten Burroughs at a music performance last night and he tells me he has a six-episode "advice" show airing on Sirius/XM Radio right now, in anticipation of his upcoming self-help book, "This Is How."

I haven't seen any promotion for the show -- guests include Jack Abramoff, novelist Kathryn Harrison and Tony winner Alice Ripley -- so I thought I would pass the information on to my readers, as I know many of you are fans. (For those who don't have radios, he says there's also a Sirius/XM app for iPhones.) It airs Saturdays at noon ET now through May 19, with encore broadcasts on SiriusXM Stars, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and on SiriusXM Book Radio Ch. 80 the following Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. The new book sounds hilarious -- the subtitle is "Proven Aid in Overcoming Shyness, Molestation, Fatness, Spinsterhood, Grief, Disease, Lushery, Decrepitude & More. For Young and Old Alike" -- and comes out May 8. Preorder HERE (hardback) and HERE (eBook).
