Via Boy Culture: This vintage 1970s TV commercial for the Man's Country bathhouse is as jaw-dropping as it is titillating. Will Kohler of Back2Stonewall reports that the New York City outpost of the notorious Chicago sex club was a multileveled facility whose "orgy room featured a full-sized re-assembled tractor trailer cab, to have sex on/under/inside, you name it. It was also famous for its $1.00 Tuesday night rates that attracted mammoth numbers of people." Will says it closed in the '80s, but the Chicago location is still in business -- now with free WiFi! Now enough small-talk -- feast your eyes on this:
UPDATE:
The Chicago location has closed, too.

WOW, that ad was pretty racy for the 70's, even for NYC I think. Wonder when it aired, channels and times
WOW! I love it! Thanks for sharing. You'll come again and again... LOL
Several comments: First, this probably didn't air on commercial TV. There were several such ads that were made and given to pornographers for inclusion in various releases in exchange for shooting space. Second, rather ironic, given that this bathhouse was and is still owned by Chuck Renslow, who dis-invited all BB porn companies from IML several years ago, yet is probably responsible for more seroconversions in any random single night than in the entire history of the porn industry (which, to date, is reportedly 2 but unprovable since the subjects were in the first case a straight female and in the second case a known escort, both with multiple partners immediately prior to testing positive).
