Rita Hayworth's Gay Grandson Found Dead in Apparent Suicide

Film legend Rita Hayworth's handsome 25-year-old grandson, Andrew Embiricos, was found dead yesterday of an apparent suicide in his Chelsea apartment. The handsome socialite and Fordham University graduate -- who worked as a sales executive at Virgin Atlantic but had also founded a Facebook charity group that provided clothing to homeless people and was also involved with HIV/AIDS advocacy groups and the Alzheimer’s Association, which was the cause of his famous grandmother’s death in 1987 -- had long battled drug addiction and was exposed as leading a double life posting bareback pornographic films (not work friendly) on the Internet. He is survived by his mother, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, who lives off Central Park and came racing to his apartment after learning the sad news. The New York Post has a surprisingly thoughtful report about his life and death HERE. A tragic ending to a privileged life.
