Lady Gaga may be the biggest star on the planet right this second, but she reverts to a starstruck little girl as she plays journalism intern for the day interviewing childhood idol Debbie Harry for Harper's Bazaar. The results are predictably adorable, as Gaga picks Debbie's brain on everything from lyrics to songs on Blondie's new album ("Tell me more about 'China Shoes.' I actually started to cry when I first heard it.") to Debbie's legacy ("For me, you are the most legendary woman in rock.") to the first time they met. Sure, Gaga has the youthful habit of turning everything around to herself -- she's on top of the world right now and filled with idea, so it's no surprise that anything Deb says causes her to spew like a geyser -- but even as she does, it reminded me of the way Bob Colacello described hanging out with Jackie Onassis back in the '70s, when this larger-than-life figure put others at ease by being so interested (or in awe) of others, and in the process making everyone feel that she's just like them. (For all of her fame and legendary status, Debbie does not seem to be above being awestruck by people either. Or is playing Jackie Too?) Soak up the whole experience HERE.
