With thanks to my friend Bill: MTV's Video Music Awards will have a new category this year for Best Video With a Message. (See the nominees HERE.)
Bill notes: "God knows we've had 'Born This Way' shoved down our throats and blah, blah, Lady Gaga, blah, but I thought the Rise Against video is a pretty good message for the kids without all of the 'controversy' and choreography. Take that, you bullies!
P.S. You'll have to try to ignore to confusion that MTV never even plays videos yet can still give awards for them.
