I was born without the royal gene -- didn't watch Diana's wedding in 1981, didn't watch Kate's in 2011 -- but even I have to admit Hallmark's casting of Victor Garber and Jean Smart and Prince Charles and Camilla in "William and Catherine: A Royal Romance" was bloody brilliant!
Still, you have to wonder if they're taking the "fantasy" aspect of the wedding a little too far when they cast someone (Dan Amboyer) who's 10 times better looking than the real deal to play Prince William -- then get some brassy bottom to play Harry. Clearly someone at the network is a king queen and favors Diana's first born and heir to the throne -- or stopped paying attention.
