Vincent A. Musetto -- the editor who came up with the famed tabloid headline "Headless Body in Topless Bar" -- retired after 40 years at The New York Post last week, a paper he says he's worked at since it was a "a left-wing daily." Page Six reports that Musetto -- who once ran the newsroom but was most recently a film critic -- was given "an affectionate send-off by his colleagues," during which he revealed that his favorite headline of his was actually not the one that made him a legend, but "Granny Executed in Her Pink Pajamas." (Love it!) As a copy editor and all-around geek, I can tell you that nothing makes me happier than writing a good headline -- so my respect runs deep. Enjoy your retirement, sir -- you've earned it.
