With two handsome and successful men -- Phoenix Suns president and CEO Rick Welts (READ) and CNN anchor Don Lemon (READ) -- coming out of the closet in the last 24 hours, plus the end of "don't ask, don't tell," advances in marriage equality and the near-death of DOMA, I can't help but feel we have a lot more to be "proud" about this summer. (This kind of stuff makes me VERY happy!) I really didn't see this coming after Obama got elected and Prop 8 got passed. What a difference a year (or two) makes.

I like Anderson as an anchor, but I've never quite understood all the gushing over him. OTOH, Don Lemon and David Muir make me swoon!
