White House Releases 'Long-Form' Birth Certificate (UPDATED)

In what has to be one of the saddest days in American history, the White House passed out copies of President Obama's "long-form birth certificate" today, and announced the president would make a statement about the (non) issue at 9:45 a.m. (What I'd give to hear what he REALLY wants to say.)

According to the WSJ, the White House said the state of Hawaii doesn't generally release long-form birth certificates but did so at the request of the president. The White House has previously released Obama's less-detailed birth certificate that the state deems acceptable for public viewing.

I've examined the newly released document and have concluded it's a fake. For one thing, the "Secret Muslim" box is not checked, nor is there an official -- raised, mind you, "Conspiracy" seal on it.

Most damning of all, though, is that there is no mention of KajaGooGoo.

I give it a day before Donald Trump demands to see Obama's mom's birth certificate.

UPDATE: The president hit a home run. He came out laughing and joking at first -- showing he didn't take this TOO seriously -- then eventually got to the point that this was becoming the only story the media focused on when there are REAL issues to concern ourselves with. While conceding that there will be a small percentage for whom this issue still won't go away, he said America "does not have time for this silliness" and exited stage right. Nicely done, sir!

when a conspiracy theory is wrong, they release the evidence to prove that the conspiracy theorists are wrong. But when the conspiracy theorists are right, they pretend not to listen to those theorists at all...

Obama is a good man anyways, he seems to be the only president with least number of skeletons in the closet.
