West Hollywood, Victim of Gay Conversion Therapy?

This is really depressing. Although it's been nearly 20 years since it was my home, sadly it looks like West Hollywood -- a city founded by gay activists 26 years ago -- is following in the footsteps of the Castro, Chelsea and Dupont Circle in becoming less LGBT-friendly and more about "designer retail shops, high-priced apartments and playgrounds." Some residents, however, are not taking it lying down (for a change).

AAs a longtime resident of Dupont Circle, I can at least offer the consolation that we gays have moved into newer and better neighborhoods in DC. Come check out Logan Circle, LeDroit Park and Shaw!
