I went to my first
tailgating party on Saturday night -- albeit in an apartment on the east side of Manhattan. The occasion was a surprise birthday soiree for Michael's nephew Justin -- organized by his girlfriend, Dee -- with a Giants theme (he's the only non-Jets fan in the family, which was just as well 24 hours later). Since I don't attend organized sporting events, it's not that shocking that I've never tailgated. Given my state-school education, however, it might surprise you that I played my first game of beer pong and flip-cup that night. FYI: I sucked at both, although in my defense, one of my opponents was a former NFL player. Besides, Arizona State is
total quarters school. Watch your back next time, guys: it's chandeliers time!
