Frankly Speaking

A lot of talk over the weekend about the passing of "Dandy" Don Meredith. But the main thing I learned from the reel footage is that Frank Gifford -- long before wacky Kathie Lee got her paws on him -- was the hottest man to ever walk the face of the earth. (Frank is 80 now, by the way.)

Check out the hot young Gifford on an episode of "What's My Line?" from 1952!

I watched part of the "What's My Line" clip with Frank Gifford. The second questioner on the panel (the bald, chubby guy) appears to be asking some pretty gay-innuendo tinged questions. After complimenting Gifford on his appearance, he asks whether his services are offered to both men and women. What's up with that? What year was this from. It seems pretty risqué.

I can CLEARLY see why ALL the panelist wanted to jump his bones. What a beauty he was. And that timid quality made him even MORE delicious!!!!

No wonder Kathie Lee called him "the Love Machine." Like Mike said, the Stubby Guy seemed liked he was hitting on Frank on national TV. I wonder if it looked like innocent banter back then and modern society is just so uptight about everything now.
