The Plame Game

Normally, a spy thriller starring Naomi Watts is the kind of movie I'd avoid at all costs. But since truth really is stranger than fiction, I just may make an exception for "Fair Game," the new film based on the Valerie Plame story. Last night's premiere at the Museum of Modern Art was enough to draw out the now reclusive CIA operative and her diplomatic hubby -- played by Sean Penn in what must be considered one of the kinder casting moves of the year. With such an intriguing story and talented cast, though, you'd think the producers could come up with a better title than recycling that of a 1990s Cindy Crawford vehicle ...
