Sign-language superstar Michael Chase DiMartino -- who is gearing up to release his debut album in June -- will be making appearances this summer as the sign language interpreter for concerts by Joan Rivers (the Gramercy Theatre, June 24), Jackie Beat (the Gramercy Theatre, June 25), Lady Gaga (Madison Square Garden, July 9) and Cascada (Norway, Aug. 6-8). The 24-year-old Brooklyn native first sprang to prominence with original videos in which he signed hit singles by Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and others.
In June, Chase -- in full pop singer mode -- will be making his Times Square debut with an intimate performance at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Sunday, June 20. Tickets are $10, and may be purchased at SpinCycleNYC or by calling 212-352-3101.
Chase's first single, "Nasty Habit," is now available on iTunes. His debut album will be released later this year. His videos can be seen HERE.
