a guy walked into the Starbuck's the other day in shorts and flip flops; it was 16 degrees and snowing!
He was outside waiting for his wife, who's trudging home through the snow wearing flip-flops.
what's wrong with shorts? I live in Florida and grown men wear shorts all the time here, even at work. My cashier at Sports Authority yesterday was wearing a pair of shorts and a polo shirt, and even the instructor at the gun range wears shorts to work.
In your photo, I'd say the weather rather than the guy's age make shorts inappropriate.
